Kristin Cavallari is Expecting

It has been a rocky road for Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler but times seem to be looking up for the cute couple who have persevered through the hardships of their young relationship.

Just last year, Cavallari of the Hills and her quarterback beau broke off their engagement. Though this came as a shock to many of the couple’s fans, the quick turnaround happened just months later when in November, they reconciled and began a New Year with exciting, unexpected news. Over the weekend, Cavallari, 25, and Cutler, 28, announced that they were expecting their first child together.

In an exclusive with PEOPLE magazine, Cavallari said, “Sometimes, in order for things to get better, they have to end – even if it’s momentarily.” The couple then went on to say “we are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together. It’s an amazing time in our life and we can’t wait to meet the new addition to our growing family.”
