Although the popular televisions star Eric Stonestreet of ABC's hit comedy Modern Family is not gay or a father in real life, he plays his part exceptionally well. Stonestreet, born and raised in Kentucky, is just your average momma’s boy who enjoys playing the drums, driving, taking pictures and spending time with his family and beautiful girlfriend, Katherine Tokarz. Through his role of Cameron Tucker on Modern Family, Eric Stonestreet and fellow co-star Mitchell Pritchett, played by Jesse Tyler Ferguson, have been deemed as heroes in the gay community.  Who knew that such a humorous sitcom could help children with same sex parent’s deal with real-life issues?
