Congrats To Jamie And Jools Oliver On Their First Son!

We’re huge fans of British chef Jamie Oliver on this blog, and not just because he and his wife Jools have come up with some totally cool baby names for their three daughters: Daisy Boo; Petal Blossom Rainbow, and Poppy Honey.
Jamie Oliver works tirelessly in England, and now sometimes in the U.S., trying to improve children’s nutrition and especially children’s school lunch programs. Not only has he exposed how bad the nutritional content of many school lunches is, he has pushed school districts everywhere to improve their offerings. He has shown them how to do it. And he has touched the lives of more than a few children along the way. He is a great example of turning celebrity into a force for positive social change.
So congrats are in order for Jamie and Jools, as they welcomed their fourth child, and first boy, earlier today in London. His name, for now, is Mr. Buddy Oliver, according to Jamie Oliver’s tweet announcing the birth. Full name is still to come, tweets Oliver!
