Camerons Name Their Daughter Florence Rose
I don’t usually count the babies of politicians among the celebrity crowd, but there has been such a buzz surrounding the new arrival for the British prime minister David Cameron, and his wife Samantha, that this is irresistible. It has garnered a ton of press in the UK, where Conservative party leader Cameron is enjoying a post-election honeymoon.
The Camerons and their two children Nancy, 6, and Arthur Elwen, 4, were on vacation in the Cornwall village of St. Edellion, with the new baby expected around mid-September.
Apparently, nobody told the baby about the plans, and little Florence Rose Edellion arrived on August 24, almost three weeks early.
Baby and mother are reportedly doing fine, despite the early arrival. Prime Minister Cameron, speaking to British media, said his new daughter is “unbelievably beautiful.”
