Country singers and musicians alike typically sing about similar topics; family, beautiful love stories one can only dream about, heartache, heartbreak and traditional values.

Ashton Shepherd, best known for her hit singles, “Takin’ Off This Pain” and “Where Country Grows” might have a new song coming out about her own “perty little thing.” On September 9th, 2011, she and husband Roland Cunningham welcomed daughter Raden Delilah Cunningham into their growing family. What a lucky little girl. Who wouldn’t want a mommy with a great voice to ensure a good night’s sleep? According to People Magazine, Ashton views her new baby as a gift from God. “My personal take on it is, I already have one child that I take on the road and that I manage,” she said, “The Good Lord’s blessed me with being able to do that, and if [we] were to have another child, I’d just look at it as a blessing.” At a healthy 7 lbs., 7 oz and 19 inches long, Ashton and Roland surely have been blessed with their new addition.
