Alicia Silverstone Is A New Mom!

We have a brand new mom on the celebrity scene! Alicia Silverstone gave birth on Thursday May 5th to her first child. Silverstone’s rep told People Magazine that her and husband, Christopher Jarecki, welcomed son Bear Blu Jarecki. The little boy weighed 7 pounds and 15 ounces. The happy couple got married in June of 2005 and now has a new addition to their little family.

She blogged about the news saying, “We are all three in love!” The couple has been together for eight years before getting married and now has support all around them after the arrival of their baby boy. Silverstone also said in her blog, “I’m so grateful to this community for all the love, support, good wishes and happy vibes you’ve sent me during my pregnancy … it has been wonderful. Thank you all!”
